Bettafresh

Bettafresh Prepared Foods was formed in the late 1980s and started producing fresh pre-prepared foods from their custom-designed factory in Lanseria.

Within a few years, Bettafresh was supplying a range of salads to most of the major retailers throughout Southern Africa.

In 2006 Bettafresh and Mediterranean Delicacies merged to form BM Food Manufacturers. This meant that the Bettafresh Range of products was produced in Cape Town and Lanseria, and supplied to customers on a national basis.

Today Bettafresh produces a wide range of food products in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

A recent development is the ability of both factories to produce frozen products. This has enabled the company to supply markets that were previously inaccessible.
